Fight Parkinson’s (formerly known as Parkinson’s Victoria)
Peer support group in Pakenham. Peer Support Groups offer information, social connection, hope and support to those affected by Parkinson’s. Kooweerup Regional Health Service
Provides a range of care, health, medical, community and home care services. Services include residential aged care including dementia care, Hospital ; medical inpatient care, respite care, Transitional Care , Early Parenting unit – including Specialist Breast feeding (Lactation) consultation. Outpatients – Allied Health including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Social Work, Diabetes Education, Youth, District Nursing , Home care packages and in-home support. Health Promotion including art group, Mens shed, community exercise and Forget me not café ( support for carers and people living with dementia).

Pakenham Arthritis Self Help Group (PASH)
PASH group offers warm water and chair-based exercises, especially suitable for those who suffer from arthritis and similar ailments. PASH are aligned with MSK (Musculoskeletal Australia). Pool sessions are held at Cardinia Life pool on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:15 – 9:15 am, and Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 2:30 – 3:30pm. We exercise in chest-deep warm water. $5 payable at pool desk on entry. Our chair-based sessions are held on Monday mornings at 10:30 – 11:15am at Meadowvale retirement village and on Thursday mornings at Pakenham Senior Citizens at 10:30 – 11:15am. $3 per session payable on entry. Our monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, starting 10:30am at Senior Citizens Club, 38 James St, Pakenham. We hold regular social events including lunch outings, bus/ train trips, morning teas and special entertainment afternoons. We also have guest speakers at some of our monthly meetings. Membership $10 per annum for 2024.
